UAB Nėgė is engaged in the organization of local and international logistics helping its clients to minimize the transport-related share of costs.

UAB Nėgė was founded in 1995 and has been in operation for 29 years, continuously growing and expanding.

Since 1995 to this day the main activity of the company is international cargo transportation. In 2004 the company engaged in a new activity – small parcel transportation in Lithuania, Poland and Latvia.

Our goal is to acquire and maintain the client trust. This is being achieved by listening to each client’s individual needs and providing optimal offers to meet those needs. Employees of the company attend various seminars and courses in order to guarantee a high quality of service.

Our company’s strategy is to offer clients optimal logistics solutions at most affordable prices. We achieve this goal by installing the latest software programs, using vehicles conforming to no less than EURO5 standard and collaborating with only highly reliable foreign transport companies. Mobile communication with each vehicle enables us to respond rapidly to client needs. In addition, our company employs qualified personnel with extensive work experience. Cargo are insured by CMR insurance at If P&C Insurance AS insurance company.

UAB Nėgė uses EU support

In order to improve the company’s business performance, we decided to install a business management system covering all the core business processes and enabling to introduce new working methods. Since the installation of such systems is quite expensive, we decided to apply for the EU financial support. Our application was eligible and we received funding from the European Regional Development Fund under the facility E-business LT. Using the EU assistance, we interconnected the main business processes more effectively and quickly:

•Customer relations management;

•Service delivery process;

•Order management;

•Trip/route administration;

•E-services and client self-service;

•Payment administration;

•Warehouse management;

•Inventory management;

•Integrated company management.

The project was launched on 1 June 2011 and was successfully completed on 31 May 2013. The total cost of the project amounted to over a quarter million litas of which 109,227 were allocated by the European Regional Development Fund.
